    USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force baseball dropped a 6-1 ballgame to #24 TCU on Mother's Day and Senior Day Sunday morning at Falcon Field. The loss dropped the Falcons to 13-36, 5-16 and improved the Horned Frogs to 32-16, 16-5.

    TCU starting pitcher Stefan Crichton (6-2) picked up the win, allowing one run in seven innings pitched.

    Falcon starting pitcher Evan Abrecht (4-4) took the loss, tossing 8.2 innings in his final start at Falcon Field. Mike Kazakoff closed out the game in relief, making his 14th appearance in the last 15 games.

    Air Force had nine hits in the game. Seth Kline led the Falcons with a solo homer in the seventh. Kline had three hits and Matthew Roberts had two hits for the Falcons.

    TCU had 10 hits in the game. Catcher Josh Elander led the Frogs with three runs scored.

    TCU scored three runs in the third and two in the fifth to lead 5-0. The Frogs added a run in the seventh.

    Prior to the game, the Falcons honored its six seniors. Abrecht, Michael Ceci, Adam Hill, Victor Iacobbo, Kazakoff and Blair Roberts were honored for their contributions to Falcon baseball.

     

     

    Air Force returns to action Tuesday, May 15, at Northern Colorado.
