    FORT WORTH, Texas - Air Force baseball dropped a 5-0 ball game at TCU Friday night at Lupton Stadium. The Falcons fell to 8-23, 3-7 and the Horned Frogs improved to 18-13, 7-3.

    TCU starting pitcher Andrew Mitchell (4-2) and reliever Travis Evans combined to toss a four-hit shutout. Mitchell struck out 13 in seven innings, allowing three hits.

    Falcon starting pitcher Cameron White (2-6) lasted just two innings, allowing five runs. Reliever Todd Del Toro pitched 4.2 scoreless innings and Mike Kazakoff added 1.1 inning of scoreless relief.

    The Horned Frogs scored all five runs in the first three innings. TCU plated two in the first, one in the second and two in the fifth.

    Designated hitter Seth Kline led the Falcons offensively, going 2-for-4.

    TCU had 11 hits. First baseman Kevin Cron went 2-for-4 with two RBIs to lead the Frogs.

    Game two of the three-game series is tomorrow at 4 p.m.
