    SAUGET, Ill. - Air Force's baseball dropped a 6-2 ballgame to UT-Martin Friday afternoon in day one action at the Saint Louis Tournament at GCS Ballpark. The loss dropped the Falcons to 3-12 and improved the Skyhawks to 4-14.

    In a game that started three hours later and was moved from St. Louis, Mo., to Sauget, Ill., due to inclement weather, the Falcons offense continued to struggle.

    Air Force was held to six hits, scoring two runs. The Falcons scored its first run in the sixth inning. Leftfielder Jake Schomaker, who led the Falcons with two hits, scored on a ground out after leading off the inning with a base hit. First baseman Seth Kline scored the second run in the ninth inning on an RBI-single by catcher Brian Sicher.

    UT-Martin scored the first run of the game in the second inning, adding three more in the fifth. The Skyhawks tacked on runs in the eighth and ninth innings. UTM had 11 hits on the day. Center fielder Jordan Owen went 4-for-5 with a run scored for the Skyhawks.

    Falcon starting pitcher Cameron White (1-3) took the loss, allowing four runs in six innings, striking out six. Jack Hourin, Mike Kazakoff and Alex Baker pitched in relief for AFA.

    UT-Martin starting pitcher Alec Mills (2-2) picked up the win, holding the Falcons to five hits and one run over eighth innings pitched.

    Air Force returns to action tomorrow, taking on host Saint Louis. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m.
