Freshman (2011): Pitched in 15 games, making four starts, both top marks amongst Falcon freshmen...5.55 era to go with 1-1 record...struck out 29 in 35.2 innings pitched...ranked second amongst relievers with 3.07 era in MW play...made pitching debut vs. Nebraska...first-career start came against Creighton...earned first-career win against Northern Colorado, pitching career-high six innings and allowing just one run...struck out seven against Wichita State...had multiple strikeouts in seven games...allowed just one earned run over five innings in start vs. BYU, while striking out four. HIGH SCHOOL (Grapevine): Lettered three years in baseball...first-team all-district, Texas High School baseball magazine Top 100 Texas pitchers, North Texas High School Coaches Association All-Star Team selection and Grapevine top pitcher award winner as a senior...went 8-2 with 1.67 ERA, 67 strikeouts in 66 innings as a senior...high school baseball coach was Tim McCune...played summer ball for the DBAT Mustangs, coached by Dave Ostroff. PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 4...has two brothers, Kyle and Carson...attended the USAFA Prep school in 2009-10 and played on the baseball team...favorite TV show is Entourage...most noteworthy thing about his home town is that was ranked #100 in 100 best places to live in America...credits his father as having the biggest influence on his sports career...son of Ron and Carol White. Why I came to the Academy: "I came to the Academy to challenge myself in all aspects, play baseball and become an officer in the Air Force. Also, the opportunity to play division one baseball in the Mountain West Conference and receive an education from one of the nation's top institutions is a once in a lifetime offer." Getting to know Cameron: Greatest moment in sports: Upsetting the #4 school in the nation my senior year of high school in the playoffs. Hobbies: Sports, outdoor activities, spending time with friends. Favorite food: Pizza. Favorite Movie: Major League. Person in history you'd like to meet and why: Whitey Ford because my dad says he's the best lefty pitcher of all time and I'd like to see so for myself. Something not many people know about you: I used to play the saxophone. Who's had the biggest influence on your sports career and why: My dad because he's been my coach since the first time I picked up a baseball and he has always pushed me to do my best. Favorite athlete and why: Nolan Ryan because he's the greatest pitcher to ever play the game. Pregame rituals: I like to eat a lot before a game. If you could be on any reality TV show, what would it be? Hell's Kitchen. What do you have on your iPod? I have all kinds of music. If you could trade places with one of your teammates for day, who would it be and why? Ryan Kramer, so that I can live in Los Angeles for a day and meet all the celebrities he lives by. How did you spend your summer? Summer leave, I took a military history class, and completed a space and missiles program. Favorite quote: "Leaders aren't born, they are made.
