Freshman (2007): Played in 34 games, starting 15 ... batted .247 with 18 hits and seven doubles ... scored 11 runs and drove in 10 ... stole four bases ... had five multi-hit games ... started seven games in left field, four at DH, three in right and once at second ... MWC All-Academic selection.

Broomfield HS (Broomfield, Colo.): Lettered three years in baseball and football and two years in basketball ... all-state and all-county outfielder as a senior ... Denver Post 2006 All-Colorado Class 4A first-team ... led Broomfield to 2006 class 4A state championship ... earned state tournament MVP honors after homering and hitting a bases-clearing double in the title game ... two-time all-conference selection ... team captain and first-team all-conference quarterback in football .

Why I came to the Academy: "I came to the Academy because it has always been a dream to serve my country. Division I baseball has always been a dream of mine and at the Academy I will be giving the chance to live out a childhood dream. The Academy also offers a solid background for raising a family and a solid future in aviation.
