Freshman (2011): Appeared in 21 games, starting seven...missed significant portion of the season due to injury...had six hits on the season...drove in five runs...first-career hit came against Cal State Bakersfield...batted .300 in Mountain West play...doubled against Sacramento State...drove in two runs against Sacramento State and BYU.
HIGH SCHOOL (Chaminade): Lettered two years in baseball and one year in golf...team MVP as a freshman and sophomore...did not play baseball as a junior due to injury...team captain as a senior, leading team to 25-6 record...school nominee to California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) spirit award...simultaneously lettered in golf as a senior, leading team to CIF Southern Section Championship by shooting a two-under 70...selected to play for the USA National Maccabiah baseball team in 2009...high school baseball coach was Frank Mutz...played summer ball for the Oakland Athletics' area scout team..
