Freshman (2011): Played in 40 games, starting 31...batted .236 with 29 hits and 28 RBIs...hit six doubles, a triple and two home runs...third on the team in RBIs...homered against Navy and Creighton...had six mult-hit games...hit a grand slam vs. Creighton...scored two runs vs. Washington, Portland and Northern Colorado...started 25 games at DH and six at first base...played inside linebacker with the Air Force football team during the fall. HIGH SCHOOL (Eisenhower): Lettered four years in baseball and basketball and three years in football...first-team all-conference as a senior...second-team all-conference as a junior and sophomore...all-state in football as a junior and senior...three-time first-team all-conference in football...National Honor Society member...high school baseball coach was Ryan Froula...played summer ball for the Yakima Beetles, coached by Mike Bailey. PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 25...originally recruited to the Academy to play football...has a younger sibling, Morgan...favorite TV show is Jersey Shore...favorite non-traditional sporting event to watch on TV are hot dog eating contests...credits his father as having the biggest influence on his sports career...enjoys playing the piano when way from baseball...son of Andy and Tamara Kline. Why I came to the Academy: "Its an honorable place to be at and it's a great school to mold me into what I want to become. I was also recruited to play football."
