Junior (2007): Appeared in 27 games, starting 13 at catcher ... batted .265 with 13 hits, nine runs scored and four RBI ... had a .410 on-base percentage ... had two hits and two RBI against San Diego State ... stole a base against San Diego State ... walked three times against New Mexico ... threw out four of 16 baserunners attempting steals, good for a 25 percent runners thrown out percentage ... played summer ball in the Alaska Baseball League for the Anchorage Bucs. Sophomore (2006): Appeared in 18 games, starting three at catcher...batted .207 with six hits in 29 at bats...scored six runs and drove in five...collected his first-two career hits in 2-for-4 performance on April 14 against New Mexico...also scored two runs in that same game. Freshman (2005): Played on the junior varsity team. USAFA Prep School (2004): Played for the Academy's prep school in 2004, starting every game and leading the team with a .358 batting average. Chugiak HS (Chugiak, Alaska): Lettered three years in baseball, four in ice hockey and two in footaball...all-conference honorable mention in football as a senior...Midget State Champions for hockey senior year...played summer baseball for American Legion Post 33...American Legion All-Star in Alaska as a junior and senior...team captain as a senior and was named All-District for Region IV as a senior...coached by Billy Lierman and John Sims.
