Why I came to the Academy: "I came to the Academy because I saw that it was an experience not everyone has the opportunity to take. I realized that I didn't just want to go to a community college and live at home, and I didn't just want to go to a regular college and party. When I came here on my recruiting trip, I was just blown away by this place. The bond that everyone has, inside and outside of the baseball team, is amazing. Everyone is striving for the same goal, and pushing themselves to be the best they can be. And that is one of the main reasons I came to USAFA, to give myself a challenge, do something different, and be the best I can be."
