Air Force: Junior: Finished the season with a 2-11 record and a 6.07 ERA... ERA was the best among the starters and the 10th best in the league... 77 strikeouts in 92 innings... Ranked fifth in the MWC in strikeouts and games started (16) and sixth in innings pitched... Went seven innings and earned the win against 29th-ranked New Mexico State, March 27... Gave up just one run on two hits with eight strikeouts... Pitched eight innings against Navy at the Service Academies Classic, allowing just five hits and two unearned runs, but did not figure into the decision... Ranks fourth on AFA?s career strikeout list with 202... 275.1 career innings pitched are the third most in school history... Needs just 24 innings to break the record set by Mike Tufte last season.

Sophomore: Had one of the best seasons in many years for an AFA pitcher... 6-8 record with a 5.33 ERA and five complete games... Broke a 36-year old school record with 104.2 innings pitched... School-record scoreless inning streak of 21.1... Led the team and was second in the MWC with 85 strikeouts, the third most in AFA history... Named the MWC pitcher of the week twice... Named to the all-tournament team at the Service Academies Classic as he pitched a complete game victory over Navy... 5.33 ERA was seventh in the MWC... Third in the league in innings pitched and tied for fifth in wins.

Freshman: Tied for second on the team with four wins... Second on the team in starts (14) and innings pitched (78.2)... Third with 42 strikeouts... Posted the team?s only solo shutout of the season at Fresno State... Went nine innings, allowing just eight hits while striking out four and walking just one... Pitched a complete-game victory over Navy in the Service Academies Classic.

High School (Riverside Poly: Earned three letters in baseball as a pitcher... First-team all-league and second-team all-Riverside County as a senior... Team placed second in the California Interscholastic Federation... Named all-league second-team once and all-league honorable mention once... Team captain as a senior... Starting pitcher in the CIF-Southern Section championship game at Dodger Stadium... Pitched a one-hitter as a sophomore, but took the loss (1-0) due to an error in the last inning.

Personal: Major is management... Member of Cadet Squadron 12, the Dirty Dozen... Is the flight commander in his squadron, responsible for the welfare and progress of 33 cadets... Nickname is Fish... Hopes to go to pilot training after graduation and would like to fly fighters... Helped coach the Academy Little League All-Star team during the summer and led the team to the state championship...
