    Air Academy HS (USAFA/Colorado Springs, Colo.): Lettered three years in baseball and basketball and one year in captain in football and basketball ...played defensive end in football and center in basketball...played summer ball for the Air Academy Select team...high school baseball coach was Glen Milhouser...National Honor Society member...merit honor roll.

    Personal: Member of cadet squadron 14, the Killer Cobras ... completed Operations Air Force at McConnell AFB, Kan. two summers ago ... on the Commandant's list ... something most people don't know about him is that he sang choir in high school ... hobbies are playing basketball and football ... credits his father as having the biggest influence on his sports career ... favorite MLB team is the Colorado Rockies ... has two younger brothers, Zach (17) and Bart (15)...son of Alan Batey and Marilyn Prost.
