    Why I came to the Academy: "I initially came to the academy in order to gain a great education as well as leadership experience. After going through Basic Cadet Training and having the opportunity to hear military leaders give inspiring speeches, I find my initial reasons for coming to the academy have shifted. I have become excited about serving the nation and leading airman and less about the degree I receive. I am excited for the adventure the Air Force will take me on through service to my country."
