Recent Air Force graduate Garrett Custons was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 10th round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft on Friday, June 7. Custons, a catcher/outfielder with Falcon baseball, was the 295th overall pick.

Sixth-seed Air Force baseball dropped a 15-6 ballgame to third-seeded San Diego State in the opening game of the 2013 Mountain West Baseball Championship Wednesday afternoon at Beiden Field. The loss dropped the Falcons to 15-38, and improved the Aztecs to 27-28.

Air Force baseball had three players make the 2013 Mountain West All-Conference Baseball Team, announced today by the conference office. Senior Garrett Custons and junior Seth Kline earned first-team honors and junior David Baska earned second-team honors.

Air Force baseball will participate in the 2013 Mountain West Baseball Championship, May 22-26, hosted by Fresno State in Fresno, Calif. The #6-seeded Falcons open the tournament against #3-seed San Diego State on Wednesday. Live webcast and stats will be available for every game of the tournament.
