The team also placed third in the Mountain West Conference, its fourth consecutive top three finish since 1999 and its best conference finish since moving to Division I in 1996.

The women's team also placed six cadet-athletes on the MWC All-Academic team: C1C Elissa Ballas, C2Cs Anne Chumlea and Jean Taylor, C3C Cindy Dawson and C4Cs Vivien Aspden and Andrea Pinchak.

"I'm pleased with the performance of the women's team and I am excited about the future prospects for the team," said Stanforth.
