Ian McFarland Leads Falcons at Pre-NCAA Meet
    The Falcons place 19th in the 38-team competition.

    TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Led by senior Ian McFarland, the Air Force cross country team finished 19th in the "Blue Race" of the annual Pre-NCAA Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind., on Saturday, Oct. 13. Clocking a time of 24:06, McFarland finished 44th in the 261-competitor race.

    Junior Matt Williams placed 78th with a time of 24:23, while classmate Joe Curran posted a time of 24:26 to take 83rd. Senior Josh Van Wyngaarden crossed the finish line in 24:50 to place 127th, while junior Sean Houseworth rounded out the scoring runners with a time of 25:00.

    In addition, junior Parker Cowles placed the 181st with a time of 25:19, while senior Kenny Grosselin finished 196th, behind a time of 25:31.
