HIGH SCHOOL: Cary Academy...won three North Carolina 3A state titles as a senior (cross country, 1600-meter run, 3200-meter run)...also anchored the 4x800-meter relay that finished first at the 2017 state meet...collected seven individual state titles during prep career (three in cross country, four in track and field)...also accounted for 10 combined conference titles (two in cross country, eight in track and field)...named 2017 Track and Field Athlete of the Year by the News and Observer...earned all-Metro honors for cross country and track for three years...set 10 school records (cross country: 5K, 3K, three mile; track: 3200 meters, one mile, 1600 meters, two mile, 5000 meters, 4x800-meter relay, distance medley relay)...named the TISAC Most Outstanding Athlete at three conference meets (twice in cross country, once in track)...selected as the North Carolina Coaches Association Athlete of the Year in cross country and track...earned XC All-America honors at the 2014 Junior Olympic Nationals...recorded personal-best times in the 1600-meter run (5:00.92), 3200-meter run (10:42) and 5000-meter run (17:53)...received the Lifetime Achievement Award, which is the top athletics award at Cary Academy...member of the National Honor Society.
