FRESHMAN YEAR | 2014: Competed in five meets, including the conference and regional championships...posted a season-best 6K time of 21:55.40 to finish 36th at the Mountain West Championships...also ran that distance at the Pre-National Invitational (22:55.50, 53rd) and NCAA Mountain Regional Championships (23:10.64, 93rd)...clocked a 5K time of 18:01.70 at the Notre Dame Invitational (135th)...opened the season with a 12th-place finish at the Fresno State Invitational (15:17.60 for 4200 meters)...academic all-conference selection.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ralston Valley High School...four-time first-team all-conference selection in cross country...also earned second-team all-state honors...named MVP of cross country team...also received the Jefferson County MVP award...first-team academic all-state selection for cross country...named Runner of the Week by Runners’ Roost...selected as Female Athlete of the Fall Season...first-team all-conference selection for track...finished first in the female age group (19 and under) at the Vail Sportiva Half Marathon...member of a competitive dance team that finished first at nationals on two occasions...also competed on teams that claimed two additional top-three finishes...received the Best “All Around Dance Studio” award...named Outstanding Academic Athlete of the Year...member of the Honor Roll, with a 4.0 GPA...class salutatorian.

PERSONAL: Full name is Nicole Sophia Hahn...nickname is “Nic”...daughter of Hans and Deena Hahn...has one younger sister, Natalie...majoring in behavioral science...earning a minor in German...future plans include working in the intelligence field or becoming a Public Affairs Officer...served as Element Leader, Academics NCO and Athletics NCO...named to the Dean’s List and Athletic Director’s List...hobbies include running, reading, sleeping, baking banana bread and hanging out with her little sister... loves anything related to fruit and chocolate...knows the secret to a very decadent chocolate cake...enjoys sautéed mushrooms...semi-vegetarian...was in attendance at the 2013 Boston Marathon...traveled to Munich, Germany, over the summer, as a part of the Cadet Summer Language Immersion Program...also worked as an athletic officer during the first session of Basic Cadet Training and completed Operation Air Force at Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota...member of Cadet Squadron 27.

COACH COLE ON NICOLE: After a year of working to gain consistency in training, Nicole has built some momentum over the course of the summer that will carry her into the cross country season. Nicole loves to run and has been very mentally resilient. If able to maintain her training consistency, she will be right back in the competitive mix for our team this fall.
