    Air Force Places 15 on Academic All-Conference List

    Nine men and six women earned academic all-league honors.


    Falcons Place 11 on MW Scholar-Athlete List

    Ted Artz, Jeremy Drenckhahn and Kate Kanetzky are the program's latest four-time honorees.


    Air Force Places 16 on Academic All-Conference List

    A program-record five Falcons earned their fourth straight academic all-conference honor.

    FRESHMAN (2012): Competed in three meets...opened the season at the Colorado State Open, clocking a 5K time of 17:37.5 (60th)...clocked a career-best 8K time of 28:56.0 to finish 45th at the Metro State Invitational...also ran at the Rocky Mountain Shootout, finishing in 29:37.0 (136th).

    HIGH SCHOOL: Franklin High School...league champion in the mile...six-time league all-star selection...holds the school record in the mile...member of the National Honor Society...Scholar-Athlete award recipient...ranked 10th in a graduating class of 400.

    PERSONAL: Son of Stephen and Marybeth Hood...nickname is "Peanut"...has one younger sister, Emily...majoring in aeronautical engineering...also earning a minor in Arabic...future career plans include becoming a pilot...named to the Superintendent's List for excellence in military, academic and athletic performance...named to the Dean's List and Athletic Director's List both semesters of freshman year...hobbies include running, biking, reading, fishing and golf...would like to be a high school track coach one day...completed the Soaring and Expeditionary Survival and Evasion Training (ESET) over the summer...member of Cadet Squadron 04.
