    SOPHOMORE (2011): Set a Sophomore Class Record in the heptathlon with a 4,432-point performance at the Mt. SAC/California Invitational Multi-Event Meet...that score is the fifth-best total in Academy history...also recorded the fifth-best pentathlon total in program history at 3,190 points...accounted for that score in an eighth-place performance at the Mountain West Conference Indoor Championships...also posted the third-best outdoor (5'6") and seventh-best indoor (5'5") high jump clearances in Academy history...recorded a career-best outdoor mark of 5'6" at the Front Range Classic to place second...cleared indoor mark of 5'5" during pentathlon performance at the New Mexico Classic...posted career-best pentathlon marks in the 800-meter run (2:44.85, adjusted for altitude), 60-meter hurdles (9.46) and shot put (30'10½") at the indoor conference meet...time in the hurdles was the best on the team...also led the team in the indoor long jump with a mark of 16'10" from the Air Force Invitational...tallied career-best heptathlon marks in the 800-meter run (2:35.67), 100-meter hurdles (15.61) and long jump (16'10¾") at the Mt. SAC/California Invitational Multi-Event Meet.

    FRESHMAN (2010): Recorded the eighth-best heptathlon total in Academy history with 4,126 points at the Mountain West Conference Championships...finished ninth in that meet...posted career-best marks in the 200-meter dash (27.30), 100-meter hurdles (15.85) and javelin throw (102'3") at that meet...also competed in the high jump at the conference meet...cleared a personal-best 5'2¼" at that meet...scored 4,017 points in heptathlon debut at the Mt. SAC/California Invitational Combined Events Meet...placed eighth in the high jump at the Military Championships with a height of 5'1"...earned the same placement and same height at the Mason Spring Open...competed in the 60-meter hurdles (9.84), high jump (5'1") and long jump (15'11½") at the Air Force All-Comers Meet.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Los Lunas High School...New Mexico 5A-A state champion in the long jump (17'4½") and triple jump (36'4") as a senior...runner-up in the 300-meter hurdles (46.15)...led team to a fourth-place finish...also won state titles in the 100-meter hurdles (15.02) and high jump (5'6¼") as a junior...placed 13th at the Great Southwest Classic in the heptathlon with 4004 points...also played soccer...named second-team all-district defender...academic letterwinner all four years...two-time academic all-district selection...member of the National Honor Society...member of the marching band...served as section leader...member of the symphonic wind ensemble and jazz band...served as vice-president of the student council.

    PERSONAL: Daughter of Alfredo and Maria Torres...has one older brother, Lyle...majoring in behavioral science...future plans include working in the intelligence field or in the Office of Special Investigations...named to the Commandant's List for excellence in military performance...also named to the Athletic Director's List for excellence in academic performance...spent the summer in Hawaii...member of Cadet Squadron 36.
