FRESHMAN YEAR | 2016-17: Ran on the distance medley relay that clocked the eighth-fastest time in Academy history (12:05.02, adjusted for altitude) at the Mountain West Indoor Championships...competed in the 800-meter run during 11 meets (six indoor, five outdoor)...posted a collegiate-best time of 2:17.50a during the preliminary round of the conference meet...finished first in that event at the Adams State Qualifier (2:21.58a) and Air Force Collegiate Open (2:19.74a)...posted an outdoor-best time of 2:18.35 at the Aztec Invitational...added a time of 2:20.09a to win the Air Force Twilight Open...academic all-conference selection...MW Scholar-Athlete.

HIGH SCHOOL: Newbury Park High School...seven-time CIF section qualifier (four in cross country, three in track and field)...Marmonte League champion in the 800-meter run...named Ventura County Freshman Runner of the Year in 2012...received the Ventura County Senior Runner of the Year award in 2015...earned eight varsity letters (four cross country, four track and field)...clocked career-best time of 2:15.23 in the 800-meter run and 18:11 in the three-mile event...AP Scholar, with Distinction...class valedictorian.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Abe and Annie Samuel...has one younger sister...currently undecided on a major, but looking at something technical...named to the Superintendent’s List for excellence in military, academic and athletic performance...hobbies include recreationally playing sports, music, getting on the Academy’s Snapchat story, liking the color green and talking someone’s ear off “to the point that they get annoyed and walk away”...has a three-legged dog...completed Expeditionary Survival and Evasion Training (ESET) and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) over the summer...also took leave...member of Cadet Squadron 01.
