    HIGH SCHOOL: Detroit Catholic Central...three-year varsity letterwinner...also earned all-county, all-city and all-Catholic team honors on three occasions...six-time all-state honoree...member of the 4x400-meter relay squad that won the state championship title...won the 200-meter dash at the Midwest Meet of Champions in 21.34...also a member of the winning 4x200-meter relay squad at that meet...competed a four national meets...won the 400-meter dash title in 2009...recorded a personal-best 400-meter time of 48.49 to win the Oakland County Championships...member of the National Honor Society...belonged to the Gabriel Richard Club (for maintaining at least a 3.6 GPA and having no mark below a B)...graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
