SOPHOMORE (2012): Competed in the 400-metere dash during three outdoor competitions...clocked a career-best time of 58.87 at the Front Range Classic...clocked personal-best times in the 100-meter dash (12.93) and 200-meter dash (26.70, wind) at the Colorado Invitational...also competed in several relays...ran a leg of the 4x400-meter relay team that won the Colorado Invitational (3:58.78)...ran on the winning 1600-sprint medley team (4:15.65) at the Air Force Relays...also competed on the distance medley relay (13:05.65) and 4x400-meter relay (1:45.98) that placed third at the AF Relays...participated in the 400-meter dash during three indoor meets...clocked a career-best time of 1:00.87 at the Air Force Invitational...recorded a personal-best time of 27.24 in the 200-meter dash at the Air Force Team Challenge...competed in the 300-meter dash (44.29) at the Air Force Blue-Silver Open...ran a leg of the 4x440-yard relay that placed second (4:05.13) at that meet...also ran on the 4x400-meter team that took second (4:08.34) at the Robert Shine Invitational. FRESHMAN (2011): Competed in the 60-meter and 400-meter dashes during the indoor season...clocked a career-best 60-meter dash time of 8.60 at the Air Force All-Comers Meet...also clocked a time of 28.11 in the 200-meter dash at that meet...ran a career-best 1:04.52 in the 400-meter dash at the Don Barrett Duals...finished second in the 400-meter dash at the Robert Shine Invitational (1:05.78)...did not compete during the outdoor season. HIGH SCHOOL: Happy Hill Academy...competed at the Texas TAPPS state championships in the 100-meter dash and 400-meter dash as a senior...all-district selection in volleyball and soccer...served as team captain for both squads...finalist for the Christian Athlete award in the State of Texas as a junior...received the Carl Lewis Inspiration Award (from Carl Lewis himself) during senior year. PERSONAL: Majoring in legal studies...future plans include becoming a JAG or forensic psychologist...served as Wing PEER Superintendent, Squadron Operations NCO and WLC Director of Support...member of the "500 Club" for earning perfect score on the PFT...received Wings from the Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) program in the summer of 2011...attended the Academy Prep School...named Female Athlete of the Year...became the first prep school athlete in three years to achieve a perfect 500 PFT on second try...member of the soccer team...was the school's first soccer team to be invited to the National Club Soccer Team...only began competitive sports during junior year of high school...hobbies include shopping, playing all sports and watching movies...oversaw approximately 70 sophomores while working as Flight Commander during Expeditionary Survival and Evasion Training (ESET) this summer...also took an engineering mechanics class...nickname is "Shep"...member of Cadet Squadron 15. |
