MAJOR CROSS COUNTRY HIGHLIGHTS: Member of the squad that recorded program-best finishes at the Mountain West Championship (second) and NCAA Mountain Regional (third) in 2016...also helped the Falcons to the Academy’s first appearance at the NCAA Division I Championships and the first USTFCCCA ranking in school history.

PERSONAL: Full name is Shanna Danielle Burns...daughter of Bryan and Dionne Burns...has four younger sisters...majoring in civil engineering...future plans include becoming a pilot...earned an Athletic Pin both semesters of freshman year...hobbies include spending time with family and friends, running, biking, hiking, playing sports, swimming, skiing, riding horses, going to the beach, going through obstacle courses and climbing rock walls...would like to add that “I run for the Lord”...enjoys frozen yogurt and Mexican food...has three horses...used to be in rodeos and horse shows when younger...“jumped out of airplanes and survived in the wilderness” over the summer...member of Cadet Squadron 23.
