The track and field team accounted for 41 of Air Force's 69 academic all-conference selections.
A total of 30 men and 13 women comprised 43 of the Academy's 65 academic all-conference selections.
The meet will be held Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Cadet Field House.
Paige Blackburn, Katie Carroll and Kimber Shealy claimed their fourth straight academic all-MW honors.
JUNIOR YEAR | 2013-14: Earned the team's Most Improved Track Athlete Award...scored for the Falcons in the 110-meter hurdles at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, placing sixth with a time of 14.55...that time was ranked second on the team in 2014...earned a runner-up finish in that event at the Air Force Twilight Open (14.62)...competed in the 200-meter dash twice during the outdoor season, posting a career-best time of 23.67 at the Air Force Twilight Open...competed in the 60-meter hurdles during three indoor meets...clocked a season-best time of 8.54 at the Air Force Collegiate Open...also participated in the 55-meter dash (6.87, Rocky Mountain Classic), 60-meter dash (7.49, Air Force Invitational), 200-meter dash (23.93, Air Force Collegiate Open) and 55-meter hurdles (6.87, Rocky Mountain Classic)...academic all-conference selection.
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2012-13: Competed in the 110-meter hurdles during six meets...clocked a season-best time of 15.28 to finish fourth at the Air Force Twilight Open...also posted top-five finishes in that event at the Air Force Triangular and Air Force Relays...competed in the 100-meter dash twice, clocking a season-best, wind-aided time of 11.62 at the Jack Christiansen Invitational...also ran the 200-meter dash (23.75) at the Air Force Twilight Open...competed in the 60-meter hurdles during six indoor competitions...clocked a career-best time of 8.52 at both the Air Force Holiday Open and Air Force Invitational...also ran in the 60-meter dash, clocking a personal-best time of 7.51 at the Air Force Invitational...academic all-conference selection.
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2011-12: Participated in the 110-meter hurdles during four outdoor meets...recorded a personal-best time of 15.11 at the Front Range Classic...also clocked a personal-best 23.70 in the 200-meter dash at that meet...ran on the 4x200-meter relay (1:30.78) and shuttle hurdle relay (1:02.85) teams that placed second at the Air Force Relays...competed in the 60-meter hurdles during four indoor meets...posted a personal-best time of 8.54 (converted from a 55-meter course) at the Robert Shine Invitational...also tallied a personal-best 60-meter time of 7.53c at that meet...ran the 200-meter dash (24.13, Air Force Invitational) and 400-meter dash (56.12, Air Force All-Comers Meet) once...academic all-conference selection.
HIGH SCHOOL: Loveland High School...four-year letterwinner in track...runner-up at the Colorado 5A state championship in the 110-meter hurdles (14.69)...recorded a personal-best time of 14.54 in that event earlier in the season...also played football for four years...earned one letter in football...AP Scholar with distinction.
