The 20 selections by the men's MW champions are the most in program history.
The meet will be held Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Cadet Field House.
His the 19th member of the men's team to earn this honor since 2000.
Kimber Shealy became the program's fourth athlete to claim this honor all four years.

FRESHMAN (2012): Mountain West champion in the indoor high jump...became just the fourth Falcon to clear seven-feet in that event...recorded a mark of 7'0¼" in winning effort at the MW Indoor Championships...that mark is ranked third on the program's all-time list...two-time all-conference selection after finishing third at the MW Outdoor Championships...recorded the third-best outdoor mark (6'11") in program history...NCAA participant...became the program's first high jump champion at the MW Championships...winning clearance of 7'0¼" is ranked second in MW Championship meet history...also won the indoor high jump at the Robert Shine Invitational (6'8")...recorded an outdoor-best clearance of 6'11" to win the Air Force Relays...placed third at the MW Outdoor Championships (6'8¾")...also earned a top-10 finish in the outdoor high jump at the Arizona State Invitational (6'8¾", sixth)...cleared 6'8" at the NCAA West Preliminary meet (37th)...also competed in the heptathlon during the indoor season...tallied 4,572 points at the Air Force Indoor Combined Events Meet...won the high jump event with a clearance of 6'6¾"...posted personal-best event marks in the 60-meter dash (7.64), 1000-meter run (3:06.54), 60-meter hurdles (9.18), pole vault (13'5¼") and long jump (20'6¼") at that meet...tallied a career-best shot put mark of 36'5¾" at the Air Force Blue-Silver Open...USTFCCCA Academic All-American...academic all-conference selection...MW Scholar-Athlete.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lewis-Palmer High School...recorded a Colorado 4A all-time best high jump of 6'10¼" (outdoors)...USATF Age Group All-American in the decathlon...state champion in the high jump, decathlon and pentathlon...placed fifth at the state championship in the pole vault (13'7")...also finished eighth in the long jump at the state championship meet...cleared 6'9" in the high jump (indoors) to win the Air Force High School Invitational in 2010...finished sixth in the decathlon at the Southwest Classic High School Championships...scored 5,874 points using high school implements...also lettered in soccer and cross country...served as co-captain of cross country team as a junior...named LPHS Most Valuable Male Athlete...member of the National Honor Society...named Lewis-Palmer Foreign Language Underclassmen of the Year as a junior.
PERSONAL: Son of Steve and Kathy Rex...father achieved the rank of major in the Army...mother, who is a 1984 Academy graduate, was a four-year member of the USAFA track and field team and retired from the Air Force as a captain...both parents taught in the PE Department at the Academy...mother was also a member of the 1988 U.S. Olympic Team handball squad...has two younger brothers, Kaci and Kyle...majoring in management...future plans include becoming a judge advocate or working in the contracting field...attended Harvard University during the 2010-11 academic year...studied abroad in Iceland during the senior year of high school...member of the U-21 Team Handball National squad that travelled to Germany in 2009...hobbies include sailing and sports...completed Expeditionary Survival and Evasion Training (ESET), Space and Jump over the summer...also coached youth track and field for Landsharks Running Club...member of Cadet Squadron 32.
