SOPHOMORE (2010): Ran two races during the indoor season...clocked a career-best time of 5:53.75a at the Don Barrett Duals... finished fourth in the 3000-meter run at the Air Force Invitational with a season-best time of 11:24.73a...competed in the 1500-meter and 3000-meter distances during the outdoor season...clocked a season-best 5:09.52a in the 1500-meter run at the CSU-Pueblo Invitational...placed 11th in the 3000-meter run at the Front Range Classic with an unadjusted time of 11:14.86.
FRESHMAN (2009): Competed in the mile and 3000-meter events during the indoor season...ran a career-best 11:15.90 in the 3000-meter run at the Nebraska Wesleyan Invitational...clocked an unadjusted time of 6:05.80 in the mile at the Air Force All-Comers Meet...competed in three races during the outdoor season...placed fifth in the 5000-meter run at the Front Range Classic (20:14.91)...also competed in the 1500-meter run (5:23.16) at the Jack Christiansen Invitational and in the 3000-meter run (11:35.27) at the Colorado Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: Plano West Senior High School...member of the cross country team that finished first in the Texas Region 2-5A meet in 2006...that team also finished fourth at the Texas state 5A cross country meet...member of two District 9-5A championship teams (2006, 2007)...served as team captain during senior year...2007 regional qualifier in the 1600-meter run...2008 regional qualifier in the 3200-meter run...two-year captain of the soccer team...member of the National Honor Society...member of the Spanish Honor Society...received academic awards in both computer and art class.
PERSONAL: Full name is Alexa Allyn Ramsier...daughter of Patrick and Joy Ramsier...has three younger siblings, Jordan, Casie and Brooke...majoring in legal studies and earning a minor in Spanish...possible future plans include becoming a Public Affairs Officer or working in the intelligence field...currently serving as Assistant Flight Commander...named to the Dean's List and Athletic Director's List...hobbies include running, being with family and friends and spending time outdoors...spent the summer completing taking powered flight, "which was awesome!"...also worked the first session of Basic Cadet Training as the Athletic Officer for Aggressors and took Operations Research 310...member of Cadet Squadron 04.
