    SOPHOMORE (2012): Did not compete.

    FRESHMAN (2011): Competed in the 1500-meter run during three outdoor meets...clocked a personal-best time of 4:09.24 (adjusted for altitude) at the Front Range Classic...ran in the mile during two indoor competitions...posted a career-best 4:38.63a at the Don Barrett Duals.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Alameda High School...set a personal-best time of 15:22 in the cross country 5K at Mt. SAC to finish first in division...placed ninth in the 3200-meter run at California's North Coast Section Meet of Champions...placed 22nd at the state cross country championships...recorded a 4.0 GPA during junior and senior seasons.

    PERSONAL: Full first name is Charles, but goes by Charlie...nickname is "Tuna"...son of Randall and Alyssa Perkins...father served in the Army and Coast Guard...has a twin brother, Zach, who is a sophomore runner at the Air Force Academy...also has an older brother, Randall, who is graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy...majoring in systems engineering management...future plans include becoming a pilot...hobbies include running and biking...member of Cadet Squadron 25.
