    2003: Finished third in the pole vault at the MWC Outdoor Championships…placed seventh in the pole vault at the MWC Indoor Championships…set a season-best indoor mark of 16'2¾", which ranks eighth on the program's all-time list…qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Regionals…vaulted to a season-high outdoor mark of 16'8¾", which is the sixth best height in school history.

    2002: Recognized with the team's "Breakthrough Performance" weekly award after a 16'0" effort in the pole vault at the indoor triangular against Colorado State and Wyoming… scored 3136 points in the pentathlon at the indoor conference championships…earned "Newcomer of the Week" honors for his decathlon debut of 5582 points at Arizona… finished fifth in the MWC decathlon with a seasonal best total of 6143 points, good for tenth place on the school's all-time list.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters in ice hockey and track...named Most Valuable Athlete as a junior and senior...set conference pole vault record...won both the state and division pole vault titles...played on the state championship hockey team as a junior...served as hockey team captain.

    PERSONAL: Son of Chester and Diane Morgan... hobbies include mountain biking, climbing and working on cars...father is a 1972 Academy graduate and later served as head of the law department at the Academy... grandfather was a test pilot and earned the Silver Star during WWII...second grandfather served as a medic in the Army Air Corps and landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day...father and both grandfathers retired as colonels.
