FRESHMAN YEAR | 2016-17: Earned the team’s Freshman of the Year award...NCAA qualifier in the 400-meter dash during the outdoor season...set the Academy record in the 400-meter dash during the indoor season...broke two Freshman Class Records...impacted the program’s all-time standings in four additional events...all-conference selection...clocked an indoor-best time of 54.37 to break the program’s 34-year-old record at the Mountain West Indoor Championships...earned runner-up honors for the Academy’s first-ever all-MW honor in that event...won the 400-meter dash at the Air Force Team Challenge (56.90) and Adams State Qualifier (56.67)...registered the program’s second-fastest indoor 200-meter time during a runner-up performance at the Air Force Collegiate Open...clocked the Academy’s second-fastest outdoor 400-meter dash to win the Air Force Twilight Open with a career-best time of 53.73...tied for the program’s sixth-fastest outdoor time in the 200-meter dash at the Johnson/Joyner Kersee Invitational (25.31)...member of the 4x400-meter relay team that captured the first outdoor all-conference relay award in Academy history...anchored a quartet that clocked the third-fastest time in program history (3:44.10) to place third at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships...also ran on the distance medley relay that posted the Academy’s second-fastest time (11:23.94) at the Drake Relays...led the team in the 300-meter dash during the indoor season (41.12)...competed in the pentathlon at the Air Force Invitational, finishing fifth with 3007 points (800-meter run: 2:30.37a, 60-meter hurdles: 9.68, high jump: 4’11½”, long jump: 16’1¾”, shot put: 30’2½”)...received the team’s Track Athlete of the Week award three times.

HIGH SCHOOL: Thompson Valley High School...finished second in the 400-meter dash at the 2015 Colorado 5A High School State championships...clocked a career-best time of 55.74 in that event as a freshman...ran on the 4x400-meter relay team that won the state title with a championship-meet record time...served as team captain...finished first at the state title at the cross country championships...won an art competition.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Steven and Shannon Lacy...nickname is “Megs”...stepfather served in the Army...has one older sister...majoring in English...future plans include becoming a cargo plane pilot...served as MTE NCO...attended the Academy’s Prep School...hobbies include outdoor sports and art...had heart surgery during junior year of high school (“and still go in”)...completed Expeditionary Survival and Evasion Training (ESET) and Soaring over the summer...also took an academic class...member of Cadet Squadron 21.
