JUNIOR YEAR | 2013-14: Recorded the fourth-best heptathlon score in Academy history, during a 5,211-point performance to finish fourth at the Mountain West Indoor Championships...earned all-conference honors as a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished third...recorded career-best marks in the 60-meter hurdles (8.47) and shot put (41'3") at the conference championships...added season-best marks in the 60-meter dash (7.36), 1000-meter run (2:49.08), high jump (6'5½"), long jump (22'0¾") at that meet...posted a career-best pole vault clearance of 13'7¼" to finish fourth at the Rocky Mountain Classic...also took second in the high jump (6'0¾") and competed in the 55-meter hurdles (8.00) at that meet...tallied a career-best 6,420 points to finish fourth in the decathlon at the MW Outdoor Championships, despite being hampered by injury on the second day...collected personal-best individual marks in the shot put (39'4½") and javelin throw (140'7") at that meet...also added season-best marks in the 400-meter dash (52.57), 1500-meter run (4:41.60, adjusted for altitude), high jump (6'3¼"), long jump (20'5½") and discus throw (113'10")...time in the 1500-meter run was second among all decathletes...competed in the 110-meter hurdles during three additional meets, posting a season-best time of 15.31 to take third at the Air Force Relays...claimed runner-up honors in the pole vault at the Air Force Twilight Open after clearing a career-best height of 13'2¼"...clocked a season-best 100-meter dash time of 11.37 at the Jack Christiansen Invitational.
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2012-13: Finished second in the heptathlon at the Mountain West Indoor Championships...all-conference honoree...scored a career-best 5,148 points at that meet to move into fifth on the program's all-time list...that score is also a new Sophomore Class Record...finished first in the 1000-meter run (career-best 2:43.90) during that meet...also recorded personal-best indoor marks in the 60-meter dash (7.33), pole vault (13'5¼") and long jump (22'1½") at the conference championships...ranked third on the team in the high jump, after tallying a season-best clearance of 6'5" at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic...recorded a personal-best time of 8.52 in the 60-meter hurdles at the Air Force Holiday Open...that mark was ranked third on the team...finished fourth in the heptathlon at the Air Force Indoor Combined Events Meet, recording 4,965 points...recorded a career-best distance of 38'4" in the shot put at that meet...was the first-place finisher in the long jump (22'0¾") at that meet...scored for the Falcons in the decathlon at the MW Outdoor Championships (fourth), despite suffering an injury on the ninth event...finished first in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.51...recorded career-best marks in the pole vault (12'9½"), long jump (21'7¼"), shot put (35'3¼") and discus throw (116'1") at that meet...added a season-best clearance of 6'5" in the high jump at the conference championships...ranked second on the team in the 110-meter hurdles, after clocking a season-best time of 15.19 at the Air Force Twilight Open...also posted a career-best distance of 129'11" in the javelin throw at that meet...recorded a season-best, wind-aided time of 11.20 at the Jack Christiansen Invitational...finished fifth in the 400-meter dash at the Jerry Quiller Classic with a season-best time of 49.87...also competed in the 800-meter run (2:04.39, Jack Christiansen Invitational) and 400-meter hurdles (55.19, Arizona State Invitational) once during the outdoor season.
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2011-12: Recorded the ninth-best heptathlon total in Academy history...tallied career-best 4,644 points at the Air Force Indoor Combined Events Meet... posted career-best marks in the 60-meter dash (7.43), 1000-meter run (2:57.34), pole vault (10'11¾") and shot put (36'9¾") at that meet...recorded a personal-best clearance of 6'6" in the high jump to finish third at the Robert Shine Invitational...finished fourth in the long jump at that meet with a career-best 21'2¼"...clocked a career-best time of 8.64 in the 60-meter hurdles twice (Air Force Blue-Silver Open, Air Force All-Comers Meet)...competed in the high jump at the Mountain West Indoor Championships...scored for the Falcons in the decathlon and high jump during the MW Outdoor Championships...tallied a career-best 6,408 points to place seventh in the decathlon at the conference meet...posted a career-best clearance of 6'7½" in the high jump during decathlon competition at that meet...that height was ranked fourth on the team...also tallied personal-best marks in the 400-meter dash (49.64), 1500-meter run (4:32.35, adjusted for altitude), pole vault (12'3½"), discus throw (91'5") and javelin throw (115'5") at the conference meet...finished second in the 1500-meter event at the MW Championships...claimed career-best marks in the 100-meter dash (11.30), long jump (21'2") and shot put (34'3½") at the Air Force Outdoor Combined Events Meet...finished second in the decathlon at that meet with 6,233 points...was the top scorer in the 400-meter dash and 1500-meter run...posted a career-best 110-meter hurdles time of 14.98 at the Front Range Classic...cleared 6'4¾" to score for the Falcons in the high jump at the MW Outdoor Championships...academic all-conference selection.
HIGH SCHOOL: Hudsonville High School...four-time all-state honoree...claimed all-state honors in the high jump in 2010...earned the same honor in the 300-meter hurdles as a senior...also ran legs of the 4x200-meter and 4x400-meter relay teams that claimed all-state honors...three-time all-area selection...three-time all-conference honoree...holds the school record in the 300-meter hurdles (38.4)...also a member of the 4x400-meter and 4x200-meter relay teams that holds the HHS record...served as secretary of the National Honor Society...member of the Student Council...graduated with a 3.93 GPA.
