HIGH SCHOOL: Indian Creek High School...participated in 11 events at the state level (three indoor, eight outdoor) ...anchored the 4x400-meter relay that won the schools’ first-ever state title...also ran the final leg of the 4x800-meter relay that finished third at that meet...finished third in the 800-meter run after only training for that event for half of senior year...earned first-team all-Ohio honors as a junior, running on the 4x4 that finished seventh at the DII state championships...anchored the 4x400-meter relay team that won back-to-back regional titles and broke a regional record that had stood for 39 years...also ran anchor on the 4x400- and 4x800-meter relays that set the school and all-time Ohio valley record...received an invitation to the New Balance Outdoor Nationals...also lettered in soccer (three years), basketball (four) and cheer (one)...ranked fifth in graduating class...received four academic letters...member of the homecoming member of the Key Club, National Honor Society, Pep Club, S.A.D.D., and Foreign Language Club.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Robert Smith and Kim Mark...father is a 1983 Academy graduate and former member of the Falcons’ football an only child...nickname is “Mad”...majoring in civil engineering...uncle, Lawrence Smith, Jr., is a 1976 Academy graduate, and grandfather, Lawrence Smith, Sr., was an E-5 in the Army and received two Purple Hearts for bravery during the Battle of the Bulge...member of Cadet Squadron 03.
