FRESHMAN YEAR | 2013-14: Competed in five meets...ran the 500-meter run twice during the outdoor season, posting a career-best time of 15:28.46 (adjusted for altitude) to finish third at the Jack Christiansen Invitational...competed in the 3000-meter run once outdoors, finishing sixth at the Jim Click Shootout in 9:03.78...ran that distance twice during the indoor season...posted a personal-best time of 8:51.93 at the Holiday Inn Invitational...earned a second-place finish at the Air Force All-Comers Meet...also ran the mile at that meet, finishing eighth in 4:26.34a.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lowell Senior High School...placed fifth at the Indiana High School State Cross Country Championships in 2012...conference champion...also won the sectional and regional cross country championship meets...placed 28th at the Footlocker Midwest Regional Cross Country Championships as a senior...finished first in the 1600-meter and 3200-meter races at the conference track and field championships...two-time state qualifier in the 3200-meter run (junior year, senior year)...won high school talent show two years in a row for dancing, the first for a duo and the second for interpretive dance.

PERSONAL: Full name is Kyle Francis Eller...nickname is "Frosh"...son of Dean and Melanie Eller...father retired from the Air Force with the rank of major...has two sisters, Kayla and Maria...also has one brother, Ben, who is currently serving in the Air Force...majoring in civil engineering...future plans include becoming an engineer or the head coach of the Cleveland Browns...served as an Athletic Clerk...hobbies include "dancing, yo-yoing, mooing and sloth wrestling"...completed Jump and Expeditionary Survival and Evasion Training over the summer ("I jumped from airplanes and evaded terrorists")...member of Cadet Squadron 12.
