SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2013-14: Debuted on the program's all-time standings in both the indoor and outdoor shot put...recorded the fifth-best indoor throw in Academy history (46'6") at the Air Force Team Challenge...finished second in that event at the Air Force Holiday Open (43'11¼")...earned additional top-three finishes at the Air Force Team Challenge and Rocky Mountain Classic...first entered the program's top-10 at the New Mexico Invitational (44'4¼")...earned the team's Field Athlete of the Week award after that meet...also competed in the weight throw during the indoor season, recording a personal-best distance of 45'9¼" at the Air Force Collegiate Open...accounted for the seventh-best outdoor shot put distance (45'4¼") at the Mountain West Championships...won that event at the Air Force Relays (44'8¼") and earned a runner-up finish at the Air Force Twilight Open (44'11¾")...competed in the discus throw during seven meets...recorded a personal-best toss of 147'11" at the conference meet...finished second at the Air Force Twilight Open (139'3") and third at the Air Force Relays (135'7")...earned the team's Most Improved Field Athlete award.

HIGH SCHOOL: Concordia Lutheran High School...four-year varsity letterwinner in track and field...holds the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) shot put record...holds the school records in the shot put and discus throw...all-state honoree...member of the track and field team that won back-to-back state titles...also lettered in basketball all four years...all-state honoree...served as team captain for both track and basketball...received the Scholar-Athlete award...member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Full name is Katelyn Neal Holland...daughter of Tom and Kathy Holland...father served in the Army...has one older brother, Tim, and two older sisters, Kirsten and Jennifer...majoring in management...served as Flight NCO, Element Leader and Public Affairs NCO...hobbies include basketball and music...holds a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do...completed Operation Air Force in Little Rock, Ark., over the summer...also served as cadre during Expeditionary Survival and Evasion Training (ESET) and took an aeronautical engineering class...member of Cadet Squadron 25.
