    2003: Finished fifth in the pentathlon at the MWC Indoor Championships...also finished eighth in the long jump at the conference championships...set a season-best score of 3584 in the pentathlon to rank fourth on the program's all-time list...placed third in the decathlon at the outdoor conference championships and eighth in the long jump...season-best score of 6745 points ranks fourth all-time in the program...named to the academic all-MWC team.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters in track and two in soccer.

    PERSONAL: Son of Bruce and Margaret Herald...has two younger siblings (Matt and Mandy)...a behavioral sciences major...plans to attend pilot training...walked on to the track team at Idaho State prior to joining the Academy.
