Falcons Set to Host Annual All-Comers Meet

The meet will be held Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Cadet Field House.


JUNIOR YEAR | 2014-15: Competed on two relays that impacted the Academy record book...ran the third leg of the distance medley relay that posted the sixth-fastest time in Academy history (9:45.12, adjusted for altitude) during a runner-up finish at the Mountain West Indoor Championships...earned all-conference honors as a member of that relay...also ran on the 4x800-meter relay that posted the program’s fifth-fastest time (7:39.69) at the Drake Relays...competed in the 800-meter run during five outdoor meets...recorded a career-best time of 1:52.92a at the New Mexico Quadrangular...raced 1500 meters at the Rock Chalk Classic, clocking a personal-best time of 3:59.51...competed in the 800-meter and mile events during the indoor season...registered a season-best 800-meter time of 1:55.02a at the New Mexico Invitational...won the Adams State Qualifier (1:56.69a)...posted a personal-best mile time of 4:20.99a at the Air Force Invitational...academic all-conference selection.

SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2013-14: Competed in the 800-meter run during four indoor competitions...clocked a career-best time of 1:54.70 to finish seventh at the Iowa State Classic...competed in the mile run (4:22.17, adjusted for altitude) at the Air Force All-Comers Meet...ran the1000-meter run (career-best 2:36.45) to finish fourth at the Air Force Holiday Open...missed the majority of the outdoor season with a hip injury...competed in the 800-meter run during two meets...clocked a season-best time of 1:56.74 at the Jim Click Shootout (10th)...academic all-conference selection.

FRESHMAN YEAR | 2012-13: Ran the anchor leg of the 4x800-meter relay that clocked the second-fastest time in Academy history (7:35.07) at the Drake Relays...recorded a career-best 800-meter time of 1:52.20 during anchor run...competed in that distance during six meets (three indoor, three outdoor)...won the Air Force Twilight Invitational during the outdoor season...clocked an indoor-best 800-meter time of 1:54.89a at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic...was the runner-up at the Air Force Team Challenge...ran the 1000-meter run in collegiate debut at the Air Force Holiday Open (2:37.92)...academic all-conference selection...MW Scholar-Athlete.

HIGH SCHOOL: Cherry Creek High School...served as the team captain for both the cross country and track teams during the 2011-12 academic year...earned all-conference and all-league honors in cross country as a senior...all-state selection in track as a member of the 4x800-meter relay team...also lettered two years in hockey...2011 Hobey Baker Award recipient...graduated with a 4.42 GPA...Chinese Honor Society officer and member.
