    Collegiate: 2001: Earned the 2001 Track and Field Ironman Award. 2001: Indoor - Placed fourth in the high jump (6’ 4 3/4”) -- season best for team, fifth in the long jump (22’7 1/4”) and fifth in the triple jump (46’ 9 1/2” at the MWC Championships. Outdoor - Placed fourth in high jump (6’ 3 1/4”), fourth in the triple jump (45’ 5”) and fifth in the long jump (21’ 10 3/4”) at the MWC Championships. 2000: Placed in both the high jump and the triple jump at the MWC Outdoor Championships... won the triple jump at the Jack Christensen Invitational... scored the second most points for the team during the outdoor season... missed all of the indoor season due to injury. 1999: Placed seventh in the high jump at the WAC Outdoor Championships... placed eighth in the pentathlon at the ‘99 WAC Indoor Championships... was top freshman finisher in both events.

    High School: All-state high jump, indoor ‘97-’98... New York state pentathlon champion, outdoor ‘98... ninth in nation pentathlon, indoor ‘97-’98, all-section hurdles, high jump, and triple jump indoor and outdoor ‘97-’98... Mu Alpha Theta member (math honor society)... National Honor Society.

    Personal: Parents are Sonto and Linda Golando... plans on majoring in mechanical engineering or physics... goals include attending pilot training, flying A-10s, and entering the space program... wants to teach eventually... athletics director’s list... participated in the Jump program, Combat Survival Training and Global Engagement over the summer... interests include golf and music.
