    Collegiate: 2002-Indoor seasonal best of 40'4¼" in shot put ranks tenth on school's all-time list, and seasonal best of 44'6¾" in 20-lb. weight throw ranks sixth on all-time list…Earned Breakthrough Performance weekly award for her 40'0¾" effort in shot put at Indiana quadrangular, good for sixth on school's all-time list…Threw 144'5" in hammer throw at MWC Outdoor Championships, also good for sixth on all-time list.

    High School:: Earned four varsity letters in track and two in volleyball and basketball…In track was a four-time state qualifier…As a junior placed second in the state in both the shot put and discus.

    Personal:: Graduated as class valedictorian…Served as student body president…Enjoys bow hunting and reading…Parents are Doug and Marilyn Giddings...Father placed second as a marksman for the Air Force at the World Championships held at Vandenberg AFB in 1967.
