2003: Won the pole vault at the triangular against Colorado State and Wyoming...vaulted an indoor-high of 17'0?"...earned a first-place finish at the quadrangular against Colorado, Northern Colorado and TCU... placed fifth in the pole vault at the MWC Outdoor Championships...qualified on the pole vault for the NCAA Regionals with an outdoor season-best mark of 16'8?"...earned the program's "Falcon Award for Spirit" for his comeback from grave injuries suffered last year at the Husker Invitational.

2002: Presented with the "Newcomer of the Year" award?MWC Outdoor pole vault champion with a 17'5?"...that mark ranks second on program's all-time list and met the NCAA "provisional qualifying" standard...his 17'2?" also a Freshman class record?finished second in the pole vault with a 17'2?" at the MWC Indoor Championships...earned "Newcomer of the Week" honors following the conference meet?set an indoor personal record of 17'5?" in the win over Arizona, Stanford and CSU, earning the weekly "Breakthrough Performance" award...that mark ranks second all-time and met NCAA "provisional qualifying" standard...earned "Newcomer-of-the-Week" honors again for a pole vault win of 17'2?"?won pole vault at the Air Force Twilight Invitational with 16'10?".

PERSONAL: Son of Mark and Elizabeth Gensic...two brothers (Ben and Jake) graduated from the Academy and are on the school's Top-10 all-time pole vault list...hopes to qualify for the World Class Athlete Program and pole vault for the Air economics major.
