2007: Was the top collegiate finisher at the Glenn Morris Decathlon...recorded 6327 points to finish second overall...that mark was the 10th-highest decathlon total in Academy history...earned the team's Field Athlete of the Week award following that meet...clocked season-best marks in the 400-meter dash (51.74), pole vault (13'7¼"), long jump (20'7¾"), discus throw (105'10") and javelin throw (180'4") at that meet...that javelin distance was the best by any of the decathletes...posted a season-best 4594 points in the heptathlon to finish ninth at the Mountain West Conference championships...set season-best marks in the high jump (6'0") and pole vault (14'1¼") at that meet.

2006: Finished seventh in the decathlon at the MWC Championships with a career-best 5993 point total...posted the second-best javelin throw (162'0") of any of the Air Force decathletes at the Mt. SAC/Cal Combined Events Meet...posted a career-best 4604 points in the heptathlon at the MWC Indoor Championships to finish eighth...that score was backed by fourth-place finishes in the pole vault (14'5¼") and 1000-meter run (2:52.08)...that score is sixth on the program's all-time list.

2005: Moved into fifth on the program's all-time list after scoring a career-best 4363 points at the MWC Indoor Championships...tallied a career-high 5588 points in the decathlon at the Glenn Morris Multi-Events Meet...recorded the best javelin throw (160'5") of the season by any of the three decathletes at the Risdon Westen-Air Force Twilight Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named team captain of the basketball and track teams during senior year.

PERSONAL: Son of Mark and Betty Gensic...three older brothers (Jake, Ben and Paul) graduated from the Air Force Academy and are all listed on the program's top-10 lists in the pole vault...other brother, Sam, played basketball at Bethel College...named to the Athletic Director's List...attended the Academy's Prep School...served as the Squadron Commander of the B-Squad at the Prep economics major...future plans include "graduating, serving my time in the Air Force and returning home to live with my parents"... hobbies include reading, listening to music, taking naps, snowboarding and surfing the internet.
