    HIGH SCHOOL: District champion and regional champion in the triple jump...placed sixth in that event at the Texas 2A state meet in 2008...school record-holder in the triple jump...regional qualifier in the triple jump, long jump, 110-meter hurdles and as a member of the mile relay team...lettered three years in football... first-team all-district selection as a running back and punter...earned second-team all-district honors as a linebacker...chosen as a part of the Amarillo, Texas Super Team...named Offensive Player of the Year in 2009...also lettered two years in basketball...earned academic all-district honors every year in every sport...named academic all-state in football and track...served as vice-president for the Class of 2009...all-area selection for choir...UIL One Act all-star cast as a sophomore...member of the UIL Literary Critics and History Team...earned the Texas Student Achievement Award for the ACT in 2007...selected to the Boys' State-elected State Delegate...served as a Big Brother in the "Bigs in Schools" program...ranked within the top five-percent of graduating class.
