    Program-Best 23 Falcons Qualify to NCAA Outdoor Championships

    Air Force qualified mulitple athletes in seven events.

    FRESHMAN (2012): Earned the team's Newcomer of the Year award...all-conference selection in the javelin throw...placed third at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships with a career-best throw of 143'7"...that mark is ranked ninth on the Academy's all-time list...won the javelin at the Air Force Relays with a toss of 138'11"...was the runner-up in that event at the Front Range Classic (143'5") and at the Colorado Invitational (141'8")...made collegiate debut with an eighth-place throw of 141'10" at the Arizona State Invitational...academic all-conference selection...MW Scholar-Athlete.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Mandeville High School...placed third in the javelin at the Louisiana 5A state championship meet...named Outstanding Field Event Performer at the All-State Sugar Bowl Track and Field Classic (javelin, 137'5")...posted a career-best distance of 144'1" in the javelin at the Covington High School Invitational...placed fourth in the discus throw at the state championships...named MHS Athlete of the Year as a senior...also a member of the volleyball team...served as team captain as a senior...member of the team that placed third at the state tournament...earned academic all-state honors in track and field...ranked within the top five-percent of class...received the Principals' Award for leadership...served as Executive Officer for high school's Marine Corp JROTC.
