    SOPHOMORE (2011): Ranked third on the team in the hammer throw...recorded a career-best distance of 167'5" at the Front Range Classic...finished fourth in that event at the CSU-Pueblo Invitational (162'8")...also picked up a top-five finish at the Colorado Invitational (165'6")...also competed in the shot put and discus throw during the outdoor season...recorded a career-best shot put mark of 47'0¼" at the UC Irvine Spring Break Invitational...tossed a personal-best 160'9" in the discus throw at the Colorado Invitational...ranked fourth on the team in the shot put during the indoor season...tossed a personal-best 53'4¼" at the Robert Shine Invitational...placed fourth at that meet...scored for the Falcons in the shot put at the Mountain West Conference Indoor Championships...tossed a 50'10¾" to place eighth...also competed in the weight throw...tossed a 52'0" at the Robert Shine Invitational...academic all-conference selection...MWC Scholar-Athlete.

    FRESHMAN (2010): Competed in the shot put, discus throw and hammer throw during the outdoor season...tossed a career-best 42'1¼" in the shot put at the Mason Spring Open...finished fifth at that meet in the shot put...also finished sixth in both the discus and hammer at that meet...tossed a 155'0" in the discus at the Tom Benich Classic...that mark was ranked fourth on the team...also ranked fourth on the team in the hammer throw...tossed a 152'8" at the Front Range Classic...threw the shot put and weight throw during the indoor season...posted a career-best distance of 43'3¼" in the shot put at the Air Force Invitational...recorded a distance of 46'11¾" in the weight throw at that meet...that was the fourth-best throw on the team...academic all-conference.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Alamosa High School...Wendy's High School Heisman award winner for Colorado...three-time all-state selection in track and field...placed fourth in the discus throw and fifth in the shot put at the Colorado 4A High School Championships...also earned three all-state selections in football...National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame award winner...chosen as the IBM and Denver Broncos High School Hero...two-time National Achievement Academy All-American Scholar...recipient of the Colorado School of Mines Medal of Achievement of Math and Science award...served as the student body president during junior and senior years...member of the National Honor Society...served as Vice-President of the NHS...class valedictorian.
