    HIGH SCHOOL: Brentwood High School...two-time Indoor Track and Field All-American in the pentathlon...finished second at the 2012 New Balance Indoor Nationals and fourth at the 2013 championships...also competed in the pentathlon at the 2011 New Balance Indoor Nationals, finishing 18th...finished second in the decathlon that year at the National Club Championships...2012 Tennessee AAA state champion in the pole vault...runner-up in the decathlon and pole vault at the 2011 state championship meet...set the BHS record in the pole vault...received the AP Scholar Award.

    PERSONAL: Full name is Eric William Hoff...nicknames are "E" and "Sound"...son of Steve and Cathy Hoff...father was a member of the track and field team (400-meter hurdles) at the University of Minnesota...has two older siblings, Brian and Christie...also has one younger sister, Maddie...majoring in systems engineering...future plans include becoming a pilot or project manager...hobbies include playing guitar and piano, spending time with friends and family and taking long walks on the beach...grandfather served in the Army...member of Cadet Squadron 30.
