JUNIOR YEAR | 2015-16: Competed in the discus throw during five outdoor meets, including the conference championships...recorded a career-best distance of 150’1” to finish third at the Air Force Twilight Open...participated in the weight throw six times during the indoor season...posted a personal-best mark of 45’9¼” at the Rocky Mountain Open (eighth)...also finished within the top 10 at the Air Force Holiday Open (fifth, 39’1¾”) and Adams State Qualifier (10th, 43’2½”).

SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2014-15: Did not compete.

FRESHMAN YEAR | 2013-14: Competed in the discus throw during five outdoor meets, including the Mountain West Championships...tossed a career-best 139’2” during a third-place performance at the Air Force Twilight Open...competed in the weight throw three times during the indoor season...registered a personal-best distance of 40’5½” at the Air Force Holiday Open.

HIGH SCHOOL: Salmon High School...2012 Idaho 2A state champion in the discus throw...four-year letterwinner in track and field, volleyball and basketball.

PERSONAL: Full name is Emily Kayleen Taylor...daughter of Linda Taylor and Dusty and Jessica Taylor...has two siblings...majoring in biology...future plans include working in aircraft maintenance...served as Squadron Commander...went on a road trip over the summer, traveling through Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska and Colorado...member of Cadet Squadron 13 (“woof”).
