JUNIOR YEAR | 2016-17: NCAA qualifier in the javelin throw...competed in that event eight times...registered a career-best throw of 214'3" to finish fourth at the Beach Invitational...debuted in ninth on the Academy's all-time standings with that throw...that distance was also ranked fourth in the Mountain West in 2017...finished within the top-five during six meets...registered a distance of 209'3" to take second at the Air Force Twilight Open...placed fourth at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships with a throw of 208'0"...also surpassed the 200-foot mark at the Johnston/Joyner Kersee Invitational (fourth, 207'9"), NCAA West Preliminary (23rd, 206'11") and Baldy Castillo Classic (10th, 202'6").
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2015-16: Earned all-conference honors in the javelin throw after finishing second at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships (196'6")...competed in that event during seven meets...recorded a career-best throw of 200'5" to place fourth at the Stanford Invitational...that distance was ranked fourth in the conference during 2016...finished third at the Air Force Twilight Open (199'8")...claimed additional top-five finishes at the Aztec Invitational (fifth, 193'2") and Michael Johnson Classic (fifth, 188'11").
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2014-15: Completed in the javelin throw during eight meets...recorded a career-best throw of 199'10" during a third-place performance at the Texas Invitational...that distance was ranked second on the team and fifth in the conference...received the team's Field Athlete of the Week award following the Texas Invitational...won the javelin at the Air Force Twilight Open (197'11")...opened the season with a runner-up finish at the Jerry Quiller Classic (193'11")...recorded an additional top-five finish at the Rock Chalk Classic after placing fifth with a throw of 197'4".
HIGH SCHOOL: Central York High School...placed second in the javelin at the PIAA District Championships...placed 12th in that event at the PIAA State Championships...served as team captain for the track and field team...also competed in football and wrestling...served as captains of both teams...named Technology Education Student of the Year.
PERSONAL: Full name is Donald Glenn Crabill...goes by Donny...son of Dennis and Laura Crabill...has one older sibling...majoring in management...future plans include becoming an RPA pilot...Grill Master...hobbies include losing money in the stock market and reading about how not to lose money in the stock market...worked Summer Seminar and completed the Powered Flight program over the summer...member of Cadet Squadron 11.
