    2003: Earned team's "Newcomer of the Week" honors for his personal-best time of 8:31.92 in the 3,000-meter run at the Husker Invitational...repeated the honor the next week for his performance in the mile (4:22.12) at the Air Force Open...participated in the MWC Indoor Championships...registered a personal-best time of 14:57 in the 5,000-meter outdoor run...member of the Air Force cross country team that won the MWC Championship.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Finished 12th in the 1,600-meter run at the Virginia State AAA High School Championships…high school team was ranked nationally in the Top-25 during junior and senior years…member of the state championship track team…earned all-region, all-district and all-state honors during sophomore, junior and senior years in both track and cross country…lettered in wrestling for two years…junior class vice-president.

    PERSONAL: Son of Tom and Linda D'Amato…majoring in management…enjoys watching movies and listening to music…has a twin brother who runs track at Virginia Tech.
