FRESHMAN (2010): Competed in the shot put and weight throw during the indoor season...tossed a career-best 51'0" in the shot put at the New Mexico Classic...ranked third on the team with that distance...collected a personal-best 46'8¼" in the weight throw at the Air Force Invitational...placed among the top 10 in both events during collegiate debut at Air Force All-Comers Meet...threw the shot put and discus throw during the outdoor season...ranked fourth on the team in the shot put with a career-best 49'11¼"...placed eighth with that mark at the Front Range Classic...added a career-best 149'0" in the discus throw at that meet. HIGH SCHOOL: Rider High School...lettered three years in football and track and two in power lifting...honorable mention all-conference in football as a sophomore...two-time all-state honoree...academic all-state in football...Red River 22 defensive most valuable player...finished in the top five of the state in the discus and shot put as a junior and senior...won the state championship in the shot put as a senior...placed ninth in the state in power lifting.
