Joey Uhle won the pole vault with the seventh-best clearance in Academy history.

JUNIOR (2012): Competed in the shot put and discus throw during five outdoor competitions...won the shot put at the Front Range Classic with a career-best 53'8¼"...that mark was ranked second on the team...that distance was ranked seventh in the nation among Two-Sport Athletes (as compiled by the USTFCCCA)...earned top-five finishes in that even at the Air Force Relays (fourth) and Colorado Invitational (fifth)...also ranked second on the team in the discus throw...tossed a personal-best 167'10" to finish third at the Front Range Classic...placed second at the Jack Christiansen Invitational (166'5")...finished fifth at the Colorado Invitational and at the Air Force Relays...competed in the hammer throw at the Colorado Invitational, recording a distance of 129'11"...competed in shot put during six indoor competitions...posted a season-best 51'8¼" to finish fifth at the Robert Shine Invitational...participated in four weight throw competitions...tossed a personal-best distance of 48'10¼".

SOPHOMORE (2011): Scored for the Falcons in the discus throw at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships...threw a 165'1" to place seventh at that meet...became the first football player to score for the Falcons in a throwing event at a conference championship meet...recorded a career-best 167'1" to finish fourth in that event at the Front Range Classic...also picked up a third-place finish at the CSU-Pueblo Invitational...competed in the shot put during three meets in the outdoor season...tossed a career-best 52'5" at the Jack Christiansen Invitational...also participated in the shot put during four indoor meets...improved career indoor distance to 51'3¾" at the Robert Shine Invitational to finish eighth.

FRESHMAN (2010): Competed in the shot put and weight throw during the indoor season...tossed a career-best 51'0" in the shot put at the New Mexico Classic...ranked third on the team with that distance...collected a personal-best 46'8¼" in the weight throw at the Air Force Invitational...placed among the top 10 in both events during collegiate debut at Air Force All-Comers Meet...threw the shot put and discus throw during the outdoor season...ranked fourth on the team in the shot put with a career-best 49'11¼"...placed eighth with that mark at the Front Range Classic...added a career-best 149'0" in the discus throw at that meet.

HIGH SCHOOL: Rider High School...lettered three years in football and track and two in power lifting...honorable mention all-conference in football as a sophomore...two-time all-state honoree...academic all-state in football...Red River 22 defensive most valuable player...finished in the top five of the state in the discus and shot put as a junior and senior...won the state championship in the shot put as a senior...placed ninth in the state in power lifting.

PERSONAL: Son of Jim and Regina Chambers...father is a retired pilot...has one younger sister, Christine...currently undecided on a major...named to the dean's list as a freshman...spent the summer completing Combat Survival Training...member of the Air Force football team...member of Cadet Squadron 27.
