High School: Earned four letters in cross country and four letters in track and field... named to the all-state cross country team in ‘96 and ‘97... named student-athlete of the year as a senior... most outstanding day in high school athletics was his fourth-place finish at the Arizona Class 5A State Cross Country meet in 1996.
