    FRESHMAN (2011): Competed in the 1500-meter run during four outdoor meets...clocked a career-best 4:55.48 (adjusted for altitude) at the Front Range Classic...finished seventh at that meet...competed in two races during the indoor meet...ran the mile in 5:32.22a at the Air Force All-Comers Meet...clocked a 3000-meter time of 10:59.58a at the Air Force Invitational...MWC Scholar-Athlete.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Mankato East High School...three-time all-conference selection in cross country...competed at the state cross country meet as a junior...also participated in choir, drama and speech...member of the National Honor Society...served as vice-president...was selected as the female recipient of the school's "Triple A" award.

    PERSONAL: Daughter of Chris and Kathy Blain...nickname is "Blainer"...born on Christmas Day...has one younger brother, Tristan, and one younger sister, Gretchen...majoring in legal studies...future plans include becoming a JAG...hobbies include running, reading, watching TV, singing and eating...spent the summer hiking, watching movies and eating good food...member of Cadet Squadron 06.
