2005: First season throwing the javelin...tossed a season-long distance of 136'0" to place second in the javelin at the Risdon Westen-Air Force Twilight Invitational...that throw is the fifth-best distance in Academy history...won the javelin at the Colorado College Invitational with a throw of 125'6"

2004: Spent freshman season as a goalkeeper for the Academy's varsity soccer team

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year member of the varsity soccer team...also a member of the varsity softball team...president of the Student Body...California Seal bearer (honors distinction)...graduated with a cumulative GPA of 4.02...served as a youth camp counselor for the Developed Mentally Disabled...also served as a river rafting, backpacking and rock climbing guide

PERSONAL: Daughter of James and Tracy Bayne and adoptive parents Mike and Denise Mitchell...has five siblings - Carly, Chris, Jimbo, McCall and Shea...majoring in management...plans on attending pilot training after graduation...named to the Commandant's and Athletic Director's lists...served as a group staff member in the fall of 2005...was the assistant director of operations for CS-38...received a nomination for the position of Wing Commander...hobbies include snowboarding, going to the beach, river rafting, wakeboarding, being outdoors, watching movies, reading "People" magazine and eating ice cream.
